Taken from the Manhattan Bridge, where Michael, Junko & I had stopped to try to capture the extensive graffiti against the backdrop of the skyscrapers and apartments. Again, standing in almost the same place, we ended up with three different choices and resulting images -- a little to the left, centered, and to the right, and we end up with quite different looks because of the way the background shifts and the angle of the graffiti.

Wow, fantastic shot of all this graffiti and the assorted shapes of the building tops. How good to find a vantage point like that. Looking forward to seeing the other two too.
For some reason, I want Lin-Manuel Miranda to update Mary Poppins, with a more modern version of "Chim chimney." ;) Wonderful complex language translated into art.
Wow! That graffiti is amazing and your shot across the rooftops is spectacular! Fav for sure!
Enjoyed viewing the other two shots...thank you for including the links.
@ukandie1 Haha! Does that mean they are not memorable, or worth looking at multiple times?? What's our next adventure before I leave the city? Or are we looking at April? Weather isn't being cooperative.
Wow how did i miss all your shots of the roof graffiti? How amazing is this. I only thought graffiti was on street level - how naive am I? There is a whole world of "art" going on up there on the rooftops!! It's funny I have a love/hate feeling towards graffiti - not sure when it becomes street art or indeed if it does? It certainly makes for an interesting photo against the backdrop of the NY skyline!!
Nice alternative view to his!
