What? Which Way? Why? Me Too? by taffy

What? Which Way? Why? Me Too?

Turkeys were once almost extinct on Beaver Island, but they've come back solidly after several years of protection. To me, they always look so confused.
Lovely long lens capture. Looks like they are looking for direction.

You're right - no two are facing the same way. How strange!

They all have a job and that is to look for the predators.

A fabulous title and capture! They can be very amusing and do not seem to have a large brain ;-)

Lovely capture! They look like I feel today! Heading off to Ireland, kids coming in from England and Norway. Packing 'funeral' clothes for all ... I'd need to add 'Where? and When?' though! ;-)

@jamibann Oh, I do feel for you...had to go back as I'd missed what was clearly an important post. Sending hugs.
October 5th, 2017
Great title and composition, it’s a small miracle that they can all go in one direction, eventually. Lol. Fav!

I know they are not seagulls.......but I can't helping remembering the characters from "Finding Nemo" that flew around intimidating people, calling "mate, mate, mate, mate" in their Australian seagull drawl.....
October 5th, 2017
@casablanca Haha! You're right about that...I thought they were saying 'mine, mine, mine' though!
October 5th, 2017
Great pov, focus, clarity...cute title :)

Great shot and title!

No doubt they are working as a team, but they do look rather disorientated. I really like the way they stand out, completely distinct from the painterly tree scene behind.

Great title.

confused??? I doubt it. just shows that appearances can be deceiving.
October 6th, 2017
I totally agree...except during breeding season when they spread their feathers and look quite full of themselves
