The Train Goes By by taffy

The Train Goes By

The elevated section of the city train/subway system circles the business district downtown called "the loop." This section of the city is named for the train that circles it. From my walk with Andie (and her suggestion to go up on the bridge/walkway to take the shot -- the pedestrian bridge between Millennium Park and the Art Institute).
Sort of seems like a lithograph! A definite leading line, but to live in it looks chaotic! :)

Yikes, Taffy, I would go mad living there with so much activity and noise all around...almost overstimulating just to take in your evocative photo. Somehow you take chaos and make incredible art

this gives a great sense of the business operating at all different levels. I do like your processing for these architectural shots.

Like that you've cropped with the weight on the bottom. For me, it gives the buildings an airy feeling.

@casablanca ER made the El look so appealing except they kept catching the El to go places that it didn't go (like to one of the doc's houses). That was fun for Chicagoans to check out.

@jocasta Thank you! I like how you worded that -- puppies to pandemonium.

@thistle We were standing on the pedestrian bridge that connects Millennium Park and the Art Institute. So it feels like you are above the chaos.
