Foothills above Colorado Springs

I'm visiting my mom, brother and SIL for just a few days to fairly tied up, but carrying my camera around with me just in case. The city sits on the front range, so much of it is flat to the east. The west has the start of the Rocky Mountains. This was taken on the way down from the zoo, just off the side of the road.
