Hi All. Twiga Rafiki here with a reassuring note. First, P3 and I are fine (P3 was ALWAYS fine, of course, and quite happy with the frigid weather). I have learned a lot of new words: polar vortex, frigid, cold (whole new meaning even though I'd heard the word before). But as you can see, I've been given some toasty warm scarf tubes and the weather reporters are saying it's going to start warming up tomorrow.
Jim saw me (Taffy gave me this stuff while he was out of the condo) and just shook his head at both of us. I'm guessing it was in admiration but am not really sure. Thank you for all your kind thoughts and words telling us to be careful and safe. We appreciated knowing you cared about us in Chicago (and nearby cold areas).
So good to see TR has weathered the storm so well thanks to some unknown kind person's thoughtfulness. I wasn't worried about P3! Good to hear you guys are OK too, BTW.
Stylish for sure, but l have to say my eye is drawn to that stunning vase, shape and colouring is beautiful... Here in Australia they had Chicago in the news showing the extreme cold, a little scary for sure
Glad to hear that all is well. My oldest granddaughter lives near White Heath, IL so we have a vested interest in the weather in Illinois. We had seen on the news Wednesday morning that it was so cold in Chicago that the snow plows were breaking down. I am guessing the hyrolics were freezing up or if they are diesel trucks the fuel was gelling. Whatever the case, glad you survived!
Dear TR, you look fabulous in your new scarves and I am sure that Jim was so stunned at how fantastic you look that he was lost for words. I am sure he thought "Clever Taffy."
