I do not have a green thumb, but we have one houseplant that has been with us since before our house fire in 2014 (which it obviously survived). It now lives in our study, in front of a west-facing window, and seems to be quite happy. This month, I noticed it has at least 6 new stems that are just about to burst. Plant has made me proud!
Oh well done indeed! My mother can walk into a room and all the houseplants smile, grow and look healthy. When they end up living with me however, all plants are immediately on death row! I am useless with indoor plants, so I am immensely impressed at this. And a cool photo to boot.
@jyokota We were trying to remember where it lived -- most of the time it was with Andrew but right after the fire, someone took care of moving it...not sure who. Or Jim thinks maybe we got it after the fire (I remember having it longer than that...we'll never know until I did up some pre-fire photos -- I know we bought the dried flower vases after the fire but thought we already had the live one).
bloom and grow!
