I found this calming to work on and liked the result. The moth was on the white flower, but the rest of the background was helped along with adding a bunch of textures. At this point, I've lost track of what I've done.
Window update: contractor returned this morning to take measurements, and as the window was starting to bow out, we had to remove the glass. One little tap and it crumbled (we were ready with tarp, plastic, and a Shop Vac). Three weeks and the replacement pane will be installed. =For now, the single pane is standing firm so all is good.
Beautiful image Taffy! Love the textures but how do you mask out the tiny whiskers etc? I think I must be doing something wrong - I have trouble with whispy edges like around Finlay’s ears.
Great result! That's usually what happens to me as well- so many additions I lose track of what I did. But the outcome here made this humble moth look rather lovely!
