Last one from our foggy day/evening. Thank you for putting yesterday's on PP! This one is a slightly more telescopic shot featuring the Bloomingdale's building which was overshadowed by the (formerly known as) John Hancock building in yesterday's scene. Fog was definitely the gift that kept on giving, but it was so nice today to see the sun and sunset after so many days of gloom.
I love the shortness of sound in fog and then the wonder of the world opening up again when it goes. This reminds me of the castle in a cloud image Junko had a while ago. I am guessing this was the same building. It's really dramatic.
@casablanca Yes, it's the same building. We'd both posted back then when Junko was here for dinner. That was a 'cleaner' fog if that makes sense. This one had more texture I thought. Thanks for your visit and comment, as always!
Bloomingdale's is such a magnificent building and who knows what will become of it with so many stores closing
