I've really enjoyed processing the photos from the Blue Angels flyover. After thinking about the images and the actual experience, I tried creating an image that conveyed the feeling rather than the literal viewing of the event. Here's one attempt.
And thank you to those who explained the lone plane as being the videographer of the event. The pilot of that plane must have an amazing view of the experience!
To get a sense of how fast they were going, and why I needed to use 'burst' for the shutter speed, here's a collage: https://365project.org/taffy/the-also-ran-ph/2020-05-14
This is a whoosh with a smile and a wow! Just how it makes me feel when I see displays like this. Absolutely thrilling and can't keep the smile off my face.
question: did you have to use a tripod? this is an awesome shot. our snow birds did their flyovers during mother's day and i think they're out west now.
ps - i looked at your exif and i would assume you used a tripod as you used your 600mm.
