I've always thought of the bridges that span the Chicago River, connecting "the loop" (business district) with the "magnificent mile" (upscale shopping district), were intriguing pops of red. I love how from the riverbank level, we can see bridge after bridge after bridge, but just barely. These are the bridges that are raised to let the sailboats out to Lake Michigan in the spring and in to winter storage in the fall.
Great POV being able to capture the bridges. This image has a vintage feel to it, the colours water reflections and movement all grab my attention especially.
@wag864@photograndma I'd be glad to provide a broad guide to favorite areas, but it's also such an easy city to navigate. I do hope you'll be able to visit sometime.
