Back in Chicago and quite cooperatively, the moon rose straight down the street. Without the right lens, and with no tripod, I couldn't take the photo I'd want to (one that would show the moon at it's largest and best), but can't complain about the overall view.
@jgpittenger LOL! Yes, that's why it's wide angle! I had the lens pressed against the glass window to steady it, and everytime I zoomed in, it was too blurry to use. So steady only to a point.
