For Joan @joansmor and her photo from http://365project.org/joansmor/365/2014-07-25. Thought it was funny that we were taking chefs on the same day and they posed in almost the same way!
Stoney Acres is an inland restaurant in a building shaped like a barn, with a bar that has musicians (emphasis on locals playing great Irish music), a restaurant area (with events like Friday Perch night), and a small outside area. It's a favorite spot of ours when we want a reliable meal but don't want to cook. My favorite: their turkey bacon wrap. This is the chef who works in the tiny kitchen. When I started taking photos, he saw me, and then when I asked if it would be okay, he started posing.
@pamknowler It's one of the only restaurants on the island -- one of four, in a barn shaped building. The food is always reliable and they have musicians in the bar several nights a week, so it's a draw for islanders and 'seasonals' alike.
@maggiemae I'm not sure what he was planning to say, but Hi Mum would not have fit! Though he's cute -- so if I had a kid, he looks like he'd be a fun one.
Sorry if I mislead you but Anthony wasn't a chef he was a worker in the lumber yard. The picture was taken in the big office area outside my office. LOL But they are both definitely flamboyant guys. Did you get my reference in the fall story when I said not Beaver. I little nod to you.
@ericdibosco Thanks Eric. I think what worked here was the luck of the window frame being in the same shade/tone as his shirt and hat, and then the rest of the tones are all so neutral. I was able to snap off three quick shots before he was back at work so had a little choice which also was good.
