Spotted on our drive into town. She stood there watching us, as casually as can be. It was clear she had no idea we could see her.
I thought she'd make a good contribution to the 30 days of wild theme, and then had fun creating a 6 word story title. Themes can be so motivating!
SO, please think about contributing a photo (or more) to this week's mundane challenge - http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/25806/announcing-mundane-challenge-stairs
If you add it to the thread, it will keep the theme in the landing page for longer.
Thanks!
I hope you're planting deer resistant flowers! They are pretty to look at but they're on my "not happy with you!" list after eating all my lilies this year- even after I sprayed them.
@olivetreeann They've already mowed down our peonies (two small little bushes that apparently flowered before we got here) and some hostas. It's a never ending battle. When we are here, they tend to stay away, but knowing we'll be in Chicago for a week means when we get back, lots will be chewed down. We do live in 'their' woods -- I keep reminding myself.
@taffy Hostas and Lilies= Deer candy!! I use a product called Deer Out and for the most part it works quite well! All natural- minty smell- so much better than the urine based kind. I think the bottle I used first this year must have been week because they have never eaten them like that before. But I'd recommend that for the time you're away. www.deerout.com
