The 45th Parallel

I totally forgot I'd taken this picture driving from the Traverse City airport to Charlevoix to pick up the charter flight back to Beaver Island. I love this sign - we pass it on every trip to and from the island, and its fitting for today since this is the halfway point in my 365 project.
The background captures northern Michigan's rural areas with the power lines, farm storage, rich green orchards where irrigation systems are in place, and the isolation.
