While last month was the Supermoon, this month the moon is only 1,500kms further away so it is still close to Supermoon status and I wanted to get a shot of it over the city. But in the end it didn't matter since, after much hair pulling, I ended up using a shot where you can't even see it. Ha ha ha
Best on black
And I just noticed, there is exactly 12 hours between this shot and the magpie pic http://365project.org/terryliv/directors-cut/2014-09-09 I took this morning. Spoooooky!!!!
Beautiful shot of the city, such a shame the moon decided to hide but I think it gives a nice mood to the shot.
My husband laughs at me all the time when I say things like that about the time. I always think it's amazing when things like that happen.
Fantastic night shot of your city. Interesting, the shadow (or whatever it is) behind the cloud. Almost looks like a butterfly. No super moon here, at least that I could see; thunderstorms that have me awake well ahead of the norm.
After I scraped Ricco off my finger onto that rock I did have to tell him "Stay put." because he wants to flutter back to my shoulder. His flight feathers are growing out so he's now able to get a tiny bit of altitude. His outside picture days are coming to an end.
@hermann When I was going thru the 5,000 pics I took, I actually thought of you when I selected this one with the rays of the moon rather than one of the many with the moon showing. Bit disappointed though that you didn't come up with a better name than "moon rays". Thought they might be perpendicular rays or something better than moon.
