Just using my rudimentary skills with photoshop...the ones I actually remember how to use rather than those pesky layers and masks (which I use and then immediately forget how or why! The left (before) is right out of camera; the right after tweaking with brightness, selective color, a bit of a crop and straightening, and a wee bit of cloning on one of the pillars. @granagringa
@30pics4jackiesdiamond@grammyn@sprphotos I have never figured out masks in Affinity or Procreate, but I love using them in SuperimposeX. The tutorials were helpful also.
Such a difference Grangringa - the unedited version seems to slide your eye right past the person to the shapes at the back, while the edited one definitely brings the lady into prominence. :)
Very nice processing that makes the walls glow and brightens the sneezer!
(although I think the White balance is messed up in the second shot. It seems a bit blue on the person ...especially her white hat)
@farmreporter HI Wendy, thanks for commenting so specifically on the before-after "gezundheit" shot...especially about the white balance. I was actually going by the color of the mask...I think I could have selected the visor on PS and gotten it back to white but got a bit lazy! I tried white balance as you suggested but everything else went off...hmm. Be well.
@thedarkroom
Madeline - I hope you were not offended with my comment. I always try to keep it constructive.
I can see how her mask is properly balanced and white - it must have been the light in the room that affected the rest of the tones. It was her visor that I first noticed and then the lady herself.
So frustrating at times!!
