Whenever I visit the Custard Factory in Digbeth, Birmingham, I can’t resist standing to admire this 12 metre tall sculpture of the Green Man, created in 2002 by Toin Adams. Today’s visit was a spur of the moment decision when I found out that there was a craft market on this weekend. I managed to get a couple of nice Christmas gifts and the sun even came out, so I’m very glad I made the effort.
What a great sculpture! (I just googled Toin Adams- a fascinating person and sculptor) It sounds like you had a successful day all-round (and the sun even came out!)
An impressive sculpture! I love your capture as it shows such contrast between this sculpture and the colorful pop art beside it. I love craft markets, they are so fun to go through and ...to spend money :-)
