Dirk was in charge of this month’s official walk in Beacon Park, Lichfield, but I got roped in as he had no-one to set up the raffle for when they got back. I didn’t mind really - I sat in the sunshine with a coffee and my book, and thoroughly enjoyed the hour to myself.
