Our week in the Lake District is over. It was a strange old week with the dodgy weather and two of our party being incapacitated with injury, but I had a good time overall, and can’t wait for our next trip there at Twixmas.

The good side of the bad weather was the light reflections caused by the rain. They made your picture luminous, even if the sky was grey.
