There are a number of châteaux in the commune of Paimpont, but none have much architectural or historical merit. Nevertheless, this one is a favourite of mine and its situation is attractive as it overlooks 'l'étang du pas du houx', which translates as the Holly Path Lake. I took advantage of today's late afternoon sun to capture this shot.
For some reason I thought you were in England. So today I had to look up Paimpont. I was almost right. Brittany, France. So no snow where you are. This is just lovely. Great reflection.
@joansmor Hi Joan - I hope you're getting some rest this weekend and feeling less tired as a result. Thanks, as always, for your kind comments... the first 8 words of my profile at the top of this page give the clue to my location! No snow, but golly gosh, have we had some rain in the last month - about 12"!
Opps, I read that too. Sometimes you just miss the obvious. You look so Brittish to me and I ignored what was right in front of me. SORRY> Plenty of rest this weekend.
