Hellebore and Friends

We got back from a visit to our friends in the centre of France in the early evening after a food shop and a stop at the cattery to pick up our moggy. After opening up the house and unloading the car, I adjourned to the garden to find some inspiration for the first photograph of April... these Christmas Roses have been in bloom for 3 months and still look splendid, I hope you'll agree!

I managed to take and upload every day we were away, but commenting was a bit restricted: normal service will now be resumed... thank you for your understanding everyone.
