I posted a photo of the front of this château 22 January - http://365project.org/vignouse/365/2014-01-22 - today the Count and Countess married off their younger son in Paimpont Abbey and the reception was, naturally, held in the grounds of the château this evening. Here's Mrs S at front left enjoying the ambiance, the rear view of the château and her glass of champagne... she's enjoying my glass too if you look closely!
You were privileged to be party to this event! Looks like flat shoes would be the footwear of the day! Great to see how the other half lives! Hope their marriage lasts!
@blueberry1222 You would have said even posher if you could see the helicopter which brought the couple from the Abbey to the château - all of 7 km - but it is parked (can you park a helicopter) on the other side of the building on the front lawn.
@janiskay Thanks Jan - I think I'm probably just going to have a 'normal' month but work hard at incorporating the learning from this month into my regular workflow... which, after all, was the whole point of doing the challenge in the first place.
Beautiful shot in the soft evening light of the grand occasion . Love the depth of field and the light falling on the building and yellow tree in the distance, the people in the foreground and then the chateau gives this photo a truly unique 3d feel. A lot to this photo. fav
