Loving this shot. You can even see the smoke coming out of the stack. Cool!

It's nice to see that the complicated turn was successful. I like the beautiful fall foliage, in the trees and on the water. I also like the lines of the canal. Lovely.

There are a lot of things I love about this image but looking at it my favourites are the refections and leaves in the water, so many levels of interest. Also love the spot of red on the barge. Fav

Lovely colour and reflections! Are you in Yorkshire for long, and do you get anywhere near York? It would be good to meet if we have the chance.

I find this one fascinating. I of course like the colors on the boat and the smoke coming from the stack reflections in the water and on the gorgeous trees and shrubs great in the background. Fav!

@fishers Hi Ian, thanks for your comments - unfortunately, it was only a flying visit to Yorkshire but thank you for the invitation. I shall be in Norfolk for three days before heading back to Swindon, so watch out for a change of scene!

We have just passed the canal there last week which got us considering another canal boat holiday. We had one near Anderton lock and Chester a few years ago and loved it. The colours in this are great and the contrast of the boat gives an added punch.
