...refers not only to the title but also to the reason for posting what is clearly not a 'mundane image' as I had promised to do. The rain stopped; the sun came out, and it was too nice not to go out for a walk in the forest. Despite the inclement weather, there are still lots of fungii to be found... but I couldn't resist the colour of this one...
@kt8ird I suppose I saw 20 or so different kinds on my walk Kate, most were either uninteresting or past their best, but I ended up with four that I could have posted: dark brown, purple, red with white spots... and pink.
