Peach blossom pollinator at work... by vignouse

Peach blossom pollinator at work...

Two weeks after bursting into life, the peach tree is still full of blossom and the bees are busy doing their job of pollination... it all augurs well for a bumper crop in September.
Awesome, great detail

I want to get the apple trees in bloom this year. I need to pay attention to what is going on. But the bee you can keep. LOL I think I hear him slurping.

@joansmor No bees, no fruit... you choose!

@vignouse Oh the bees can be on the flowers - I want the honey. Just not in my shots. I'm a coward.

Great shot, Richard. Tried to get a bee shot this week, but he wouldn't stay still long enough to get a focus.

Very nice shot! Great capture. Beautiful detail.

Good to see the bees doing their job in these lovely blossoms! They also make honey too so they deserve lots of respect!

Pretty flowers Richard. I haven't yet got down to see the cherry blossoms, and it looks like I'll miss them again this year. :(

Gorgeous so pretty, awesome capture

Lovely pink. I never realized how similar peach blossoms are to apple blossoms. Same sort of petal system and stamens. We have both peach and apple trees in our yard. I am anxious for them to bloom! Nice bee/flower combination here.

Super capture! We need to take care of and protect the bees!

This is so beautiful. Very delicate appearing, and that bee seems to be enjoying his meal.

Wonderful (hairy) details of the bee, which does bode well for the future. Lovely, delicate pink in the blossoms, set off by the blur of the background. Well done. :)

Very nice Richard. Excellent capture

I love this, the blossom is so pretty and bees have such cute furry little bodies up close. I notice you use several different cameras, do you prefer any one above the others?
April 16th, 2015
@princessm As I mention in my profile Decima, i'm a gadget freak so I like having new toys to play with! However much I might like to persuade myself otherwise though, providing the type of camera and the fitted lens are appropriate for the subject, the resulting photograph is almost entirely down to the skill of the photographer. So I don't actually need lots of different cameras... I need to spend a lot more time honing my craft! Mrs S would say that I have more money than sense!

@vignouse I think I'm with Mrs !

@vignouse I can but dream of producing photos of the quality of yours.

Great capture! And incredibly sharp in the fluffy coat. I agree that having lots of fancy gadgets does not make one a good photographer. Some inherent skills and lots of practice is worth way more! And you cannot put a price on that!
