I absolutely love the DOF, the wall and the little flowers. This is a lovely shot but removing the light would have made it a stellar shot. In saying that maybe it wasn't your garden so you can't exactly rip apart someone elses garden!!!
@karenamb Thanks Karen - this is one of two, one on either side of our front door, so I could have taken the light away. What isn't clear is that there was in fact very little light left in the day - it was after 10pm. It's the solar lamp that is lighting the flowers and the wall in the foreground... without it the image would have been very dark.
