Treading Carefully by vignouse

Treading Carefully

The combination of peak visiting time for visitors and the heavy rain at the weekend have left parts of the perimeter path around Paimpont Lake somewhat the worse for wear. I had to choose my footfalls carefully when I did the circuit this evening to avoid ending up knee-deep in the mud!

Pops nicely on black!
Will you be putting something on the path to alleviate the muddy mess when you have heavy rains? From viewing your photo I can see it is a real mess. Hopefully the sun will dry it up soon. Your picture tells the story.

Cool b&w shot...remember I injured my foot while taking shots from a ledge...so be careful

Love your POV Richard… it had made for a really interesting, unusual image. Not often we get to see the photographer's leg as a lead line! It made me smile and it tells a good story: That's 5 good reasons for making it a fav without even considering the processing and the texture!

@yrhenwr PS was this path used by the triathletes? (I am so envious of them for having done that triathlon in such a great place!)
July 28th, 2015
@yrhenwr Part of the running route used the northern perimeter path which is firm and easy to run on but this western and southern section would have been far too dangerous.
