NF-SOOC-2015 - Day 5: Pallets

This is my fifth image for NF-SOOC-2015. What's that all about? Well it's a repeat of a challenge I set myself for September 2014 - and many of you joined me - to shoot only with a 50mm (or equivalent) lens in September and to post all images as they came out of the camera without any other processing or cropping.

This is a detail shot of a stack of wooden pallets of variable vintage with weathering to match. I liked the interplay of the geometric shapes and the textures. The camera 'picture style' was set to Monochrome.

Needs to be seen on black for the best effect...

Yes, great on black. I'm managing to post sooc with (equivalent) 50mm lens in my main album - perhaps by the end of the month it will extend to all my shots. It's a really great learning curve - thanks!
