Salterhebble Locks by vignouse

Salterhebble Locks

I am up in Yorkshire for an Amateur Radio Conference and Exhibition where I am one of the helpers. The Hotel we stay in fronts on to part of the local canal network. This evening I took a stroll down the tow-path to Salterhebble Locks, one of which you see here with the lock-keeper's cottage in the background.
This is so lovely and quaint! The locks near me look very industrial by comparison, and no one actually lives there! Beautiful processing. Fav

Great POV letting us see the business of the lock; Yorkshire stone and autumn foliage. This emanates stillness, peace and harmony.

Your composition is always so well done. You capture everything interesting from just the right angles. Sorry for the mass comments. So behind but just loved all these shots of U.K.
