Ramsey IOM: Photographer and Doppelganger

Terrific b&w image...so well done :)

Is that your shadow?
April 12th, 2018
@henrir Well if it isn't, then somebody must have been standing right in front of me ;-))
April 12th, 2018
@vignouse it looks like you are using only one arm for your photo. I thought you could be capturing two people at one time. Smile.

Me too - see my post tonight

I love the shadow and the photographer and the view

And a selfie to boot

Ha ha ha!

Laughing -- great concept and quick action (if a candid) or great setup (if not a candid).
April 12th, 2018
Very clever, made me smile.
April 12th, 2018
I'm with you on that. I like it!
April 12th, 2018
Splendid opportunism!
April 12th, 2018
There is something about it! I'm suffering for it too.

Great shot, well thought out and executed. The use of a compact size camera such as the XE3 tells the story of the ‘one hand’ use.
April 12th, 2018
@henrir @taffy @fujiguy Thank you all - it was indeed a candid. I've been using the XE3 as a 'street' camera fitted with the 27mm (41mm FF equivalent) pancake lens and a wrist strap. It's quick, easy and discreet to use one-handed - I find that it's only for night shots that I need to use two hands.

Oh I understand you very well!
April 12th, 2018
Done that! Good one!
April 12th, 2018
Haha! Great shot.
April 12th, 2018
:) well done photo
April 12th, 2018
love your shadown :)
April 12th, 2018
Love this. Fav
April 12th, 2018
Well spotted.
April 13th, 2018
Very nicely composed!

Hilarious -- remind me to hide when we go on a photowalk together! But I know how YOU feel, because I always photograph other photographers, too. This one tells a story.
April 14th, 2018
Very good.. I'm the same. The inclusion of your shadow really makes the shot by providing a parallel echo. I might have discarded the top quarter or so ... nothing wrong with the sky but to my mind its not the main event. But that's a minor point.
April 17th, 2018
@yrhenwr I actually tried that but to me the image felt unbalanced, so I left the sky in.
