@haskar I'm on the Comité Culturel de l'Abbaye de Paimpont which, each year, organisés à summer season of two concerts each week. The venue is much sort after as it's a wonderful place to play and we only take 10% of the admission receipts to cover our expenses. I'm the official photographer for the Abbey and I always ask permission beforehand, it's always granted and they usually ask for copies of the photographs, which I provide. Finally, this image was taken from 20 metres away to the side of the orchestra using ambient light - I never use flash... hardly intrusive.
Lovely shots of the concert. I am sure the various musicians do like seeing themselves captured in the photos. How wonderful to have become good enough, and trusted enough, to be the official photographer at the event.
A lovely study of the flautists' concentration. (I was lucky enough to secure a photo not during, but after, a lunchtime concert in Chichester Cathedral yesterday for my strangers' portraits project.)
