Dead Farm Revisited by vignouse

Dead Farm Revisited

My post for 9 January pictured a local abandoned farmhouse - you can read the full story there https://365project.org/vignouse/365/2020-01-09

This is an alternative view taken further back and including some of the outbuildings.

It's still BoB!

Beautiful with the light and shadows

Very nice. I agree with Richard - the curvy road is a great element in the shot.

In abandonment and decay this farmhouse has become a structure of photographic opportunity That I would certainly have taken advantage of. Wonderful shot.

It's a beautiful abandoned building, but too bad about the farms there. We have a hard time here competing with the factory farms.

Nice close up shot of this house. Too bad because it's got nice features. The road does get a bit close, though.

There is that dappling again. :-) Love it!

You live in an amazing place, such interesting places to photograph.

there is a lot to be said about taking so many different images of this one place - fantastic

You always seem to capture just the right light for your photos and this is no exception...well done.

Great subject, nicely captured. I think this will feature on here time and time again.

Great composition and textures. Fav!

@gamelee Thank you Lee - I like this view the best but I passed on it first time round because there is an enormous concrete power distribution pole just in front and in the middle of the outbuilding foreground left which completely spoils the image. Finally I plucked up courage and... Photoshop to the rescue 👍

VML the light and its absence...making me pause and take in how much the light transforms the whole. Big Fav.

I like the detail! The road really stands out.

Your point of view is superb, the “s”curve leads my eye though the entire image.
