I am enjoying these top down captures, this really pops on black. Makes me think of Christmas at my great aunts house. Made me smile!

Well you've reminded me of my dad, and he's been gone nearly 15 years. Every Christmas he would sit watching the Christmas repeats with a basket of nuts. Mostly using a nut cracker like one of these, but his party piece was cracking a nut between the palms of his bare hands. Good shot.
