One Subject - 30 Shots: White Knight 30

Northy @northy is hosting a challenge to photograph the same subject every day for the month of April: see the details here - https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/43359/one-subject-30-shots

For my single subject I've chosen the White Knight from a replica copy of the 12C Isle of Lewis chess set. Finale: at the quiet of night the White Knight rises while the camp is still sleeping and rouses his trusty steed; together they set off on their last adventure. The White Knight - at peace with his future - rides to cross the River Styx and join the Father of all White Knights, who awaits him.

Vale White Knight - I've enjoyed our month together...

This one must be viewed on black.

It's a David and Goliath finale, there's only one champion here! And it's you Richard. You completed the month.

That commentary made me tear up. Congratulations on finishing the 3-0 days. You are a terrific storyteller and illustrated the story well with your low key thoughtful photos.

Since I'd missed a number of days of the story, I've gone back to re-read the tale. A well-thought out event, with excellent portrayal with the chess pieces. It was the perfect medium for a B&W presentation, beginning to end. Congrats!

@lyndemc Thanks Denise for taking the trouble to follow the story line (not everybody did!) as the pictures and the narrative go together.
