For my single subject I've chosen the White Knight from a replica copy of the 12C Isle of Lewis chess set. Today, his duty done, the White Knight contemplates what comes next. Fatigue is an ache in his bones; his wounds no longer heal like they used to... he has fought his last battle. The future beckons...
