One Subject - 30 Shots: White Knight 28

Northy @northy is hosting a challenge to photograph the same subject every day for the month of April: see the details here - https://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/43359/one-subject-30-shots

For my single subject I've chosen the White Knight from a replica copy of the 12C Isle of Lewis chess set. Today, the battle is won, the peace secured - there is one remaining duty to be performed... the White Knight pays his last respects to those of his men who made the ultimate sacrifice for the cause.

OB as usual...
I am so in love with this series and this chess set! I feel the pain here of the dead pawns.

@swguevin2 Thank you again Sheila - if only one person enjoys this series my time will have been well spent.

I bet you have enjoyed the interpretations that people have brought to the series. I just can't imagine the work to get the light right. But maybe for you now so much work.

Sadly, too many such events in our daily lives. Sadder too, that we don't learn...we repeat ingrained behaviours.
