Every Tuesday fornight we join a group of twenty or so like-minded people to walk in Paimpont forest and the lanes and footpaths that criss-cross and surround it. This field that we passed just before the end of our walk today provides grazing for four beautiful chestnut horses. Two preferred to continue eating the freshly provided hay; one was taking a constitutional around the field... but this one came to say hello.
