A Year of Days - Day 317: Leaf on a Wet Stone Wall

Before we left Tréguier today to spend some time at Paimpol, I took a walk in the rain. Of the many (damp!) pictures that I took, I find myself attracted to this one... and it qualifies as a Nature image for the ONS 10 Challenge Day 5.
I like the colour and simplicity in this shot Richard.

@cocobella Ce n'était qu'un petit trempeur... les Bretons (et les Grands Bretons!) sont solides... surtout entre les deux oreilles ;-))

Sweet contrast and simplicity

Perfect leaf. I like your composition and the shininess of the stone wall.

I like this and have taken similar shots myself. God bless your adopted country with the shadow that has been cast over it. I feel a special kinship with France as I was born on July 14....

@jack4john Thank you John for your kind thoughts - I think everybody is shaken by the coordination of these attacks... and of course, the majority, if not all, of the attackers had French nationality. We live in sad and frightening times.

Don't know why we are drawn to the single leaf picture. Each one just different enough.

Lovely...

I just love them. Maples are the best. Love the curled up oak ones as well. Nice shot.

For such a simple shot, the leaf presents itself with great élan.
