OCOLOY Day 95: Resting Place

I had a couple of errands to run in the neighbouring town of Plélan-le-Grand this evening and took the opportunity to visit the grave of a friend who died two years ago... hers is the grave on the right.

Why this photo for my post today? Well my regular followers will know that I love trees (especially in the Winter), wind generators and dramatic skies and all three are present here. I can think of less sympathetic places in which to lay my head for eternity.

Gives of its best when viewed on black.

This image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.

Got to agree Richard and this place looks well cared for too. SOOC project going strong, you've captured the sky well too.

I had to look for the wind generator. The trees are beautiful. Really dramatic on black. Great contrasts and range of shades from black to whitel

Great bare trees against the sky. Soon be leafy and have to wait one more year.

Well the black & white made this visit more dramatic I must say.

Fascinating to see all the potted plants at these gravesides. People where I live do not tend to do this.

Beautiful setting and on black, just adds to the richness of the composition. Extrordinary capture Richard.

@fntngrma Thanks Rosan - there are actually three wind generators in back and two more hidden behind the trees.
