Mrs S added another year to her tally 14th April - this is a detail from her bouquet which is still looking fresh and vibrant... I liked the tonal range in this.
As always, this image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.
And again, as always, it's worth viewing on black.
Happy Birthday Mrs S !... :o)...good to read that you had a lovely day...ditsy fairy cakes and no calories?...tell me more...excellent image as always Richard...i need to learn to see tonal range...those who have developed the skill to do so create wonderful images....fav for the image but also for Mrs S's B-day...cheers!
Yes, B&W flowers can be even more effective than presevering the color. You do need to be careful with the monochrome "tonal" content to get the contrast. And I know you must not have used the greyscale mapping (mapping colors to tonal content, which I know you know all about, but in case someone else is reading this who doesn't) in post to help out. SOOC as I know you say. :)
Thank you one and all for reviving my birthday...now running in its 8th day. It's been a splendid and continuous event. Your comments are much appreciated.
HAPPY HAPPY birthday Mrs S!!! 😀🎁🎂🎈🎉🍹🍰🌞
Thank you...and a very lovely birthday it was too. Love the splendid ditsy fairy cakes and no calories!

Happy belated birthday Mrs. S!
Thank you ladies. Although it looks like an all day, rainy day here, your birthday wishes have brightened it already! Thank you.
