OCOLOY Day 277: Gaël village centre... by vignouse

OCOLOY Day 277: Gaël village centre...

...lit by the low evening sun.

Gaël is a village about 10km from us which has been a regular source of inspiration for my project. As usual, the image is SOOC and is part of my ongoing OCOLOY project - you can read more about it in my profile.
There would be a photo op round every corner in these wonderful old French villages! The ubiquitous church spire of course, is the best to include!

VML the long shadows of early Autumn as the days draw shorter. All the long days of Summer are past...but long cosy evenings are coming soon-ish.

@frankhymus Thank you Frank, I always value a Fav from you but this one is not showing... perhaps you could do the honours again?

I have meant to follow you for awhile so forgive my tardiness- I so enjoy your work and black and white images. Love the small details and dof and of course your composition. What lens are you using?

Ahh, it's good to be back here on 365 ... and seeing your classic B&W images again. Very cool project you came up with for the year.

@joysabin As I mention above, this year I'm doing what I call OCOLOY - One Camera One Lens One Year and, as it says in the Exif Data, my chosen camera is the Fuji X100T which has a fixed 23mm lens - 35mm full frame equivalent. Thanks for the follow and your kind comments about my project.
