Well OK. i am sure lots of Favs from the "arty" folks, but I would have done a lot more with it post shooting. That is, I know, what your OCOLOY position won't allow you to.
You'll no doubt be wryly amused to know that your comment tipped this image on to both Trending and Popular pages despite the low number of both Favs and comments... one of the oddities of the system! I know that you think I'm crazy to do what I do, but you know what, I'm delighted if I can produce an 'arty' image and if I can do it sooc, I'm doubly delighted. Photography is a broad church... there"s room for us all.
It is really cool on black. And I admire your sticking to your OCOLOY. Particularly like what you said about Photography being a broad church. The wonderful variety of pictures I look at in a week attests to that. I feel I can comment on the ones I like and skip the others. I mean there were three moon pictures tonight. Lord I have seen enough moon pictures to last me a life time. I just skip them. The way others do some of my shots. I am not offend. I love the comments but I just love finding the pictures and having a place to post them. People who get all "judgy" can go pout in a corner. When I don't like I simply skip over.
@joansmor@maggiemae I agree with both these ladies! Love Joan's comment 'can go pout in a corner!' It looks inviting to me, the comfy chair, the log stack...all you got to do is switch on the light!! :-)
I really like this, the sense of mystery that is created by the subtle light. If I could produce this in camera I would be thrilled. I think that puts me in the arty group. Big FAV!
