This is a Charity motorcycle ride enjoying a 50 mile ride through the English countryside stopping at this midpoint. The bikes where old and new. We think that the origins of the name Fossils came from old men riding old bikes but today there was a mix.
Money raised goes to The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance and SERV Wessex – The Blood Runners is a registered charity that delivers blood products, urgent samples and medication from Hospital Pharmacies.
It was a fun day and good weather.
I am updating my family history again now we are in lockdown again and my great grandfather built a pub called The Rising Sun in Yorkshire in 1878. Sadly the sun has set now as it was demolished a few years ago to make way for a supermarket car park.
