My sister went up in a glider when she visited my nephew in Western Australia. Not so sure I would be willing to give it a try.

Is the propeller moving in this photo? It looks like it is. But then again, does a glider even have a propeller? Glad the pilots could take the gliders out after the fog cleared. I'm also curious to know if you or your DH fly these.

Nice photo. Flying in a glider was on our bucket list and I’m so glad we did. It is amazing when you hear that cable snap off. It is so quiet and the glider could swoop and even do loops. It felt totally in control.

@randystreat yes the propeller is moving. This is the tug plane that pulls the glider into the air. We enjoy visiting as they do a good breakfast but not tempted to fly.
