They do look very odd there but it does look a bit dodgy on the beach with all that water.

@ankers70 the beaches here are mainly made up of stones. Strong winds and heavy storms wash them away. There are areas that are prone to flood. The local council are stripping this part of the beach and moving the stones further along.
The result so far is to cause flooding in 2 places rather than one!!
