This is the Lady Lever Gallery at Port Sunlight village on the Wirral, built by Lord Leverhulme as a tribute to his wife. He was the founder of Lever Brothers later creating Unilever which was my employer for 40years, I had a little drive around the village bringing back memories before my 3rd dental appointment this week… getting there 😜
@ankers70 Thanks Suzanne, yes I worked for Unilever for 35 years and for 25 years Port Sunlight was my base but I was lucky that my job took me to some fantastic countries, most of which I’m now trying to visit as a tourist rather than when I was working 🤣🤣…. It’s a beautiful village and was a great place to work and a fabulous employer too
@randystreat Thanks Kathy… Lever Brothers was an English company to be fair… it later became Unilever which was actually Anglo Dutch company and from there they acquired many other businesses and brands… most of which are known globally and in most households, over the years they have disposed of a number of companies too… it’s difficult to keep track but they were a fabulous employer giving many opportunities for growth and development 💕
