My friend and I decided to walk off some of the Christmas excess, and climbed to the top of the Hakaramatis this morning. This is the view to the North of the Waikato River and surrounding lakes. The towers are at Huntly power station. It's unusual to be able to see so far, as usually the sky line is hazy or shrouded in mist
