Apartment living

Had to go to Auckland yesterday to collect a watch from the repairers. Sheltering from the rain at viaduct harbour, I was quite fascinated by apartment living. May be nice to have shops and cafes nearby, but this country bumpkin prefers life in the country

I prefer the country too, but I love the look of these apartments. So much of life on display here ... beds, bikes, dining tables, work areas. Quite fascinating. Well seen!

It does look lovely but you would also feel like you are living in a fishbowl with so many people walking nearby.

I told my husband, I would never, ever buy / live in an appartment building. That was before we were posted in Kazakhstan. Where we lived in an appartment building 😂. Though, I still prefer a house with a proper garden, I quite enjoyed living on 1 level and my bay window was my favourite area, looking down on the hustle & bustle of our provincial oil-city ☺️

Nice looking apartments. No country living for me. But I do like to take drives or walks in the country.
