My husband came running up after feeding our alpacas, to tell me that the turkey was back , but with a chick. I rushed straight down, and found mum, but no sign of her baby. I suspect she was deliberately leading me away from the chick. I went back later and no sign of either. Just a harrier gliding by, looking for food. Hope they're hiding well.
I hadn't seen any turkeys for a while and then there they were on my drive home. Couldn't grab a photo because someone drove up behind me. He sees you.
Well mum has a very cute face….love her colouring & I do think this is the prettiest turkey I have ever seen….not much competition mind you but she looks worried & sweet! Fave for mummy turkey!
