Texan Longhorn by yorkshirekiwi

Texan Longhorn

You may have seen these guys before. Today I was at @dide 's house, as we had the end-of-year judging for camera club today. When we stopped for lunch the longhorns were being fed too, so I took the opportunity to grab a shot of their very long horns!

I'm tagging this for the 52-week challenge - symmetry, as his horns are symmetrical!
What a good shot of those long horns - and all that lovely green grass!

He's probably not very good at scratching his own back but could easily scratch his mates..

Great shot - don't see many longhorns around! They must find it difficult to go round corners!

That is some horn, I imagine you need to keep your wits about you so one does not become impaled!

WOW! Great catch, as I love the perspective from which this was shot ....up close and on a hill, where you can see that it drops off behind the cattle, as you follow his left horn out to the road and into the horizon. Nice.
